About

This program provides a technical overview of common mental health conditions and their impact on interpersonal dynamics. Participants will examine the diagnostic criteria for borderline personality disorder, mood disorders, and the distinctions between PTSD and C-PTSD. The curriculum also clarifies the differences between schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, alongside an exploration of neurodivergence like ADHD and autism. Beyond clinical definitions, the course focuses on practical communication strategies, teaching how to apply high levels of empathy and specific support skills to de-escalate conflicts and navigate conversations with individuals facing persistent mental health challenges.
